How to View and Photograph the Night Sky and Northern Lights
Seeing the Northern Lights is an exciting and rare experience in the Twin Cities but we are lucky that there are more opportunities on trips up north. At our May meeting we will view some Youtube videos on the best apps for viewing the night sky, some tutorials on how to take photos of the northern lights as well as on mistakes rookie photographers make and how to avoid them. Some information is specific to the northern lights but some is valuable for general night sky viewing and photography so there is good information for all photographers and amateur astronomers.
